The school of International Trade and Economics held a grand ceremony to endow international students with a book named Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (the Second Volume, English Version) at 30th March. "The Seminar of The Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era by Xi Jinping" was firstly held as well as Book Review Meeting for Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (the Second Volume, English Version) at the same time. 41 overseas students from 23 countries including Ukraine, Pakistan, Laos, Mongolia, Afghanistan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Botswana, etc, attended the seminar and book review meeting mentioned above. Wu Zhaoyang, the Vice Dean of the School of International Trade and Economics (working as Chair), was invited to attend the event.
At the meeting, Wu Zhaoyang gave detailed explanations on the historical background, text structure, main contents, the theoretical and practical meanings of the book Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (the Second Volume, English Version).
All the international students showed keen interests in this literature. The representative stated that the writing could serve as theoretical and experiential references for the construction of their motherland after graduation, from which the experience should be drawn. Denys, from Ukraine, said "The book is helpful for international students to observe China objectively, deeply and in multiple angles. In this ways, we can know China much better and much more comprehensively. We can feel that China is building a community of shared future for mankind and is blueprinting the Chinese intelligence and Chinese plan to make a wonderful world collectively".
This event will be favourable for international students in China to gain the methods how do China govern the potencia, to experience "the Chinese Dream", "A Community of Shared Future" and "One Belt and One Road" not only belong to China but to the whole world, to feel the obligation and responsibility of China as a potencia. Numerous students from the world came to China, longing for knowledge with brisk vitality. They might make great contribution to their own countries, to China, even to the peace development of the World, taking JUFE as the onset and taking "Understand China" "Be close to China" and "Be friendly to China" as the goals.
Dr. Huang Xianming, the Vice Dean of the School of International Trade and Economics presided the book review meeting. And the Group of Internationalization Project in the school attended the seminar together.
